The Sourcing Engagement manager (SEM) will be working in the BNPP Fortis IT Sourcing team, this team is in charge of formulating, communicating and implementing the IT Sourcing Strategy for BNPP Fortis. Objective of the job

The Sourcing Engagement manager (SEM) will be working in the BNPP Fortis IT Sourcing team, this team is in charge of formulating, communicating and implementing the IT Sourcing Strategy for BNPP Fortis. This covers sourcing strategy (sourcing models e.g joint ventures, near-shoring, off-shoring, smart-sourcing, hybrid models, shared services and out-sourcing), demand management (engagement management: business requirements, RFPs, best practices) and supplier management (strategic vendor management).

Both activities are handled in liaison with the Corporate Purchasing Office (CPO), Compliance, Legal, HR, TOPS and other functional units of BNPP Fortis.

The objective of the SEM is to deliver successful sourcing solutions for BNPP Fortis and to develop partnerships with vendors in response to business requirements.

Besides resulting in controlled and improving (measured) service quality, these sourcing solutions allow substantial cost savings and cost control (predictability).

Multiple parties are involved in the deal negotiations and need to be engaged in controllable solutions.

The Sourcing Engagement Manager needs to bring up creative solutions to complex cooperation problems.
